Client Perspectives

"We had talked about AI for two years without actually understanding what it would mean for our work. The assessment changed that. The report was honest — it told us three areas where AI would help and two where it wouldn't. That was more useful than anything a vendor had said to us."

Vincent Tang

March 2025

"The document processing setup took about five weeks. Our team was sceptical at first — people worried it would change their roles significantly. The training sessions helped with that. By the end, the staff who had been most concerned were the ones using it most consistently."

"I appreciated that they were upfront when our timelines were not realistic. We wanted to compress the enterprise deployment into six weeks and they explained clearly why that would create problems. We followed their recommendation and the outcome was considerably better for it."

RC

Raymond Cheung

January 2025

"The governance handbook they produced was genuinely useful — not a template with our name dropped in. It referenced the PDPO obligations that actually applied to our type of data processing. Our compliance team reviewed it and had only minor comments."

Serena Wong

March 2025

"After the assessment, their report recommended we hold off on two of the workflows we had identified as priorities. It turned out one of them was being restructured anyway. The delay saved us from building something that would have needed to be rebuilt three months later."

Michael Kwok

April 2025

"What stood out was that the handover documents were written for people who are not technical. My operations manager can read them and understand what the system does and how to manage it. That was important to us — we did not want to create a dependency on consultants."

Selected Engagement Outcomes

Invoice Processing at a Kowloon-Based Finance Team

Document Processing

A finance team processing 300–400 supplier invoices monthly was spending significant staff time on manual data entry into their accounting system. Errors were frequent in high-volume periods.

Document processing integration covering three invoice formats. AI pre-fills supplier code, amount, date, and cost centre for human review. No invoices are posted automatically — all require a staff approval step.

Manual entry time reduced considerably. Staff shifted toward exception handling rather than routine data entry. Implementation took five weeks including training.

"The system does the routine entries. Our team now focuses on the ones that don't fit the pattern — which is actually where their attention was needed anyway."

AI Readiness Assessment for a Professional Services Firm

Assessment

A mid-sized professional services firm had received AI proposals from three vendors. Leadership could not evaluate the proposals objectively and wanted an independent view before committing to any of them.

A two-and-a-half week assessment covering five process areas across two departments. Interviews with twelve staff across seniority levels. Written report with prioritised findings and an independent commentary on each vendor proposal received.

The firm declined two of the three proposals and negotiated adjustments to the third based on the report findings. One implementation proceeded successfully in a modified scope six months later.

"We made better decisions because we had a clear picture of our own situation first. The report paid for itself before we spent a dollar on implementation."

Enterprise Platform Deployment for an Insurance Intermediary

Enterprise Deployment

A regulated intermediary wanted to deploy document extraction and workflow routing across four departments simultaneously, with full audit logging required by their compliance obligations.

Three-month enterprise deployment covering infrastructure, model configuration, access controls, audit trail setup, cross-functional workshops, and a governance handbook referencing relevant PDPO and IA guidance.

System live across all four departments within the agreed timeline. Compliance team reviewed and approved the governance handbook without requiring external legal input. Post-launch review conducted at six weeks.

"The governance handbook made the regulator conversation easier. We could point to documented controls rather than describing them from memory."
